Not exactly a morning person? This snorkel trip is for you! With an afternoon departure time and duration of 3.5 hours, you can take the morning to relax, then hop on the boat and do some of Maui’s best snorkeling. 

Once you’re on board, the captain and crew will transport you to one of the most well-known snorkeling spots in West Maui (depending on conditions). Depending on the day, you could get a chance to interact closely with the local Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, vibrant tropical fish, stunning coral reefs, and a host of other surprises. 

There is an open bar on board, and pupus (appetizers) are provided, making it an ideal afternoon activity where you relax with nature. No need to get up early, allowing you to enjoy your morning routine while waiting for departure. Finally, we’ll ensure you will be back before supper!

Departure Preparations

Enjoy one of Maui’s scenic beaches, Ka’anapali beach, as you prepare for departure. Just make sure to arrive early since the boat leaves at 12:30 PM, prime time for peak summer heat, so don’t forget to use sunblock. Tans are nice, but sunburns hurt a lot! 

Sea Maui features an easy-to-find check-in spot at The Whaler’s Village Shopping Center. It is the only boat that has a specific place on the shore. You’ll find the kiosk between Leilani’s and Hula Grill on the beach as you walk inside The Whaler’s village.

The Crew

Our captains have extensive experience traveling the seas of Maui; not only that, all crew members are trained lifeguards with CPR certificates under their belt. Our guests’ safety is our priority, so rest assured that all of you are in safe hands!

The Catamarans

Catamarans are boats with two hulls interconnected with a bridge deck where most activities are done. It’s the best boat for sailing seas with huge waves since it’s designed to reduce wave-induced motion and use only a small amount of power for propulsion. Also, it’s the best boat for wavy afternoon dives!

Trip Inclusions

You won’t have to worry about what drinks to bring on board as there will be a Premium open bar. In addition, complimentary juice, water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and lemonade will be offered to all of our guests.

This afternoon snorkeling trip includes pupus (appetizers) for the guests onboard. It’s a trip with eyes filled with stunning marine life underwater and a stomach full of delicious food.

If you have some allergies to certain foods, don’t hesitate to inform us, so we can prepare your food for the whole adventure. Furthermore, we can ask Cafe Jai to accommodate your special food request ahead of time to have a smooth sailing experience.

The best thing about this snorkeling trip is that it can accommodate up to 48 people. The more, the merrier, they say! This is your chance to meet new people while you relish the beauty underwater.

All the snorkeling equipment is provided, so you would not have to worry about where you can rent or buy them for this ocean adventure. You will have your skin taken care of as we do provide reef safe sunscreen to avoid sunburn. So wear your swimsuit and be ready for an underwater adventure!

After all the snorkeling stops, climb back on board the boat and head for Ka’anapali Beach. Relax and enjoy the rest of your afternoon sailing while watching the beautiful view of the Maui sea.
