Other than your enjoyment, your safety and the preservation of the seas and its wonders are our top priority. This is why we practice responsible snorkeling, one of the least intrusive yet most intimate interactions possible you will get in the Hawaiian sea. Our Maui snorkel tours are designed to stimulate your sense of inquiry, discovery, and the joy of learning that comes with exploring the underwater world first-hand, while keeping a responsible distance and without having to access the snorkel area by stepping over living reefs. As mentioned previously, we’ll provide a snorkel lesson and a marine biology briefing to help you identify the different species and understand and enjoy the different fish, coral, turtles, and the environment you encounter.
- Swimsuit (wear underneath clothes).
- Shoes that are easy to get on and off.
- Towel.
- Light jacket or sweater.
- Hat or visor.
- Reef safe sunscreen.
We’ll provide complimentary juice, water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and lemonade for refreshments. Along with an open bar once the snorkeling portion of the tour is complete. Below are the drinks served during the tour:
- All our trips include a full open bar for guests 21+ years of age with proper ID.
- We offer 2 local beers, white wine, champagne, bourbon, light rum, dark rum, and vodka. We can also create various cocktails such as Maitai’s, Maui Mules, etc.
- Our non-alcoholic beverages include a variety of soft drinks, lemonade, passion orange guava juice, & water.
- Wearing a hat can help you get more shade during the tour! Wearing a chin strap may be your best option for keeping your hat on while the boat is moving or if there is wind! Waterproof materials and broad-brimmed hats are excellent choices.
- A shirt with a light jacket and shorts is recommended additionally a light rain jacket.
- Our whale watching tours are barefoot, please wear shoes that can be easily kicked off and stored upon loading.
- We also provide complimentary reef-safe sunscreen in case you forget your zinc or mineral-based product.
We are a beach loading catamaran so we are unable to accommodate anyone with mobility issues.
- 48 hours notice of cancellation required for a full refund. You MUST call to cancel. (808) SEA-MAUI.
- Once within the 48 hour window no refunds will be honored.
- Customers will receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
- No-shows will be charged the full price.
- Private charters and other special events (New Years Eve, 4th of July, etc.) will require 7 days notice for a refund.
- Third party vouchers or tickets not sold by Sea Maui may have additional refund restrictions out of our control, Sea Maui is NOT responsible for the refunding of any payment taken by a third party vendor.
